A day in LA. One of my close friends and I always enjoy taking a day to drive down to LA. We love exploring, finding cool “Instagram worthy” walls, going to cute little food/coffee places and just driving around. Not going to lie we do hope to run into our favorite celebrities, if we get lucky lol. We are so fortunate to live in California because it only takes us about an hour to drive here from where we live. Literal tourist in our own county haha. On this day we went I’m just showing the places we ended up at. But I want to do future posts of all the places I like to visit and also a post on some of the “popular” LA walls and where to find them. So if you want to see that make sure you’re subscribed to my blog so you are notified when I do!!

Enjoy XO

First stop was Malibu. If any of you are down here you have to hit up a little place called “Cafe Habana” they have such delicious food and the people are so nice! After that we drove down PCH and went to the beach. The little hike was kind of hard lol but after you get past that the view is just amazing.

Next destination was Melrose District. Over here is where you can find the cool art on the buildings and even on the ground! Everywhere you look there are people doing the same thing and taking pictures for their Instagram, so you don’t really have to feel awkward standing there posing cause everyone does it! Haha

We then continued to drive around. Stopped at a cute yogurt place called “Go Greek” in Beverly Hills which was soo good. Yes we spend most of the time in the car and in traffic but hey thats LA for you right?

Well hello there! Its been a minute, I know I know. But I have a fun post for you all today! All about my favorite place in the whole world D I S N E Y L A N D. Now this post isn’t going into anything specific but a little peek at what my trips to here include. If you would like a post on what I like to wear, bring into the park, etc. let me know!! I also want to V L O G some of my trips to if thats something you’d be interested into seeing. Having a seasonal pass makes it easier to go whenever I like which is why I’m here almost every other month. Gotta make that pass worth every minute! Lol. I will be doing more post on Disney so enjoy the first of many.

XO

PS. You should also follow me on SNAPCHAT or INSTAGRAM because I’m always posting on there about my trips(;

Happiness. What is happiness? Well honestly sometimes I can’t figure that part out either. We are all human and there are days where we can’t always see the positive side of things and be happy all the time. But there are ways we can change that. Now to me when ever I am having the worst day/week or even month, sometimes, I try and do things that do make me happy. For example, as some of you may know I am a Disney freak lol. I’m an annual pass holder so I have the ability to go whenever I want. Disneyland just makes me happy. Spending a whole day there with my friends, having a good time, is what I love. Other things like taking the day to go down to LA or SD, going to concerts, having a girls day with my friends, spending time with my family, whatever it is that can bring me out of that state of mind. Now I’m not saying these are the things you have to do. But doing things that make YOU happy. At the end of the day your happiness and health are what matter the most. If being by yourself taking a day for just you is what you need, then do it. Who cares. If people call you selfish because of it, then what are they doing in your life? Surround yourself with a great group of people that lift you up not bring you down. As we grow older sometimes that group shrinks and 8 friends become 4 and thats okay. I know we’ve all heard the saying “I’d rather have 3 real friends than 6 fake ones”. If you have someone who just constantly brings negativity every time you hang out with them, then don’t be afraid to let them go. You will learn that be-friending certain people is what’s best for you. If you are stuck and feel like there’s nobody out there who will listen don’t be afraid to reach out to those who will. I know this post is so random, but I’ve had this written down for so long and I just wanted to post something that can relate to anyone. Im one of those people who will sit down and listen to anything. I love being there for my friends and family when they need me and they are definitely there for me when I need them the most. Whoever reads this I hope it helps you in any way.

Chocolate Dipped Candy Cane Marshmallows

Here is what you’ll need

– Crushed Candy canes

– Mini Candy Canes

– Jumbo Marshmallows

– Melting Chocolate

These were super easy and took maybe about 10-15 minutes to make.

• I started off by melting the chocolate in the microwave for 60 seconds (The chocolate that I bought was from Walmart, CandiQuik)

• Dip the marshmallows into melted chocolate.

• Sprinkle with crushed candy canes.

• Top it off with the mini candy canes and you have the finished result!

Peanut Butter Reindeer Cookies

Here is what you’ll need

– Peanut butter cookie dough

– Pretzels

– Mini chocolate chips

– M&M’s

Start off by pre heating your oven to 350.

•Roll the cookie dough in a little ball. About a tablespoon full and place on a cookie tray 1 inch apart.

• Sprinkle the top of the rolled cookie dough with sugar and then make an off center indent on the cookie with your finger.

• Place cookies in oven for 9 minutes.

• After they are done let them sit for a few minutes then start placing the chocolate chips as eyes, M&M’s for the nose and pretzels as the antlers.

• You then have your Rudolph reindeer cookies!

• Cookie’s For Santa box is from Michaels.

 Santa Hat Brownies

• I am pretty sure everybody has used or heard of the good old Betty Crocker mix. They are always ready with those how to instructions for the baking process so I will just leave it at that lol.

• Cut the top of the strawberries to form the red hat look.

• Take frosting and scoop into a baggy to use as a piping bag. [little tid bit for you(; ]

• Form a small circle onto a brownie square then place the strawberry on top then add a little drop on tip of strawberry to complete the santa hat and you’re done!
